Welcome to the Tasmanian Athletic League Inc website. The TAL promotes the sport of Athletics throughout Tasmania and Australia; in particular, this refers to professional, handicapped foot-racing. All current season results are available on the 'Results' page. Results from 2011-12 through to 2023-24, including Season Awards, are available on the 'Archived Results' page. TAL Council

Following the TAL Annual General Meeting in June there are still two positions available for north west based representatives and one for a northern based representative on the TAL Council (committee). Council Members attend 4 meetings per year and help out at all, or at least the majority, of our 9 carnivals throughout our season. The season runs from late November to late January, so it's not a huge commitment. Registered athletes or coaches are not permitted to stand for Council.

Carnival dates for season 2024-25

1st December - Richmond; 15th December - PCCCT; 21st December - Rosebery; 27th December - Hobart; 29th December - Devonport ; 31st December - Burnie; 11th or 12th January - Central Coast (to be confirmed) ; 18th January - St Helens (to be confirmed) ; 2nd February - OVA (to be confirmed)
